Australian Recording Industry Association Awards (ARIA Awards), hosted by Second Sunday Events at Sydney’s iconic Hordern Pavilion—a venue with almost a century of music legacy.

Second Sunday is a seasoned creative events agency with over 20 years of global expertise in crafting high-impact, broadcast-ready productions for blue-chip brands and entertainment properties. They bring a flawless, creatively bold approach to every experience.

The Challenge

Media Wall was tasked with erecting a 12-metre premium outdoor media wall at the 2023 and 2024 ARIA Awards—designed to serve as a dramatic, camera-ready focal point for red-carpet arrivals. Given the live stream format and festival setting, the wall had to deliver visual perfection under shifting light and strict broadcast demands.

The Challenge

The Solution

Scale & Spectacle

  • Designed a towering 12 m structure that provided a larger-than-life backdrop, ensuring photogenic impact across all red-carpet frames.

Broadcast-Grade Quality

  • Utilised ultra-sharp, fade-resistant materials with high-contrast branding for flawless visual reproduction—even under intense lighting and close-up camera angles.

Seamless Outdoor Integration

  • Engineered to withstand Sydney's unpredictable weather (though gold coast context similar outdoors), with reinforced anchoring and weatherproof finishes to ensure stability throughout the event.

On-Point Aesthetic Alignment

  • Close collaboration with Second Sunday ensured the media wall enhanced—but never overshadowed—the production’s brand, lighting setup, and red-carpet choreography.
